I just wanted to discuss in great detail about the big health-care crisis we are all facing today. First of all, how many Americans actually have health insurance at a reasonable rate? Not any, of us are paying less than $80 a month for a single person that is acquiring health insurance, and if you have children you can definitely forget about spending less than $180 per month. Basically, if you do not have any health insurance in this country you definitely have to suffer the dyer consequences. For instance, most people who don’t have insurance usually have bad health and don’t even realize it, due to the fact that they rarely go to the doctor for yearly physicals. Who can afford to visit the doctor without any kind of insurance to back them up. What we are all in need of is national health insurance.
It’s amazing that there are other countries not as great as the U.S. that have offered there citizens this important opportunity. Our congress put it in to motion so that our children could get free national health insurance. It was especially targeted to middle class America, because they earn to much to get medicaid, but earn to little to acquire health insurance. These are usually the children that suffer the consequences. Our great President Bush squashed the bill twice. I have to say that is one of the most selfish things anyone could have done. Instead he sent billions to go towards the war in Iraq. Hopefully we as a people will elect someone who cares about this terrible health crisis, before it is too late.
